Any structure used for transient or guest lodging accommodations, rented for compensation of a dwelling unit, in which the public may obtain sleeping accommodations for a period less than thirty (30) days that obtained a permit prior to April 1, 2022.

Critical Compliance Note: Remit your HOT (Hotel Occupancy Tax) to the city for EACH quarter! Even if you have no rental revenue for a quarter, a form with $0.00 must be remitted.

Under Tax Code Chapter 351 for Municipal Hotel Occupancy Taxes, Interest on Delinquent Tax, interest of 4.25% will accrue from the first day after the date due until the tax is paid.
